MAKING THE LINKS -
This event provided employers with an opportunity to recruit for permanent and temporary vacancies and promote career opportunities. It also provided an opportunity for employers to network and share ideas about equality and diversity in the workforce and the benefits. A presentation was given on how employers and schools might work together on community projects or local initiatives. Also an opportunity for individuals to learn about how they could start their own business and what financial, legal or other help might be available, for individuals and employers to find out how their training needs can be met and about how Train to Gain can help. We also raised awareness about apprenticeships as a starting point for a career amongst young people at school, school leavers, adults and make links with organisations who can provide information about apprenticeship opportunities.
