At EQUAL COMMUNITIES, our mission is to ignite positive transformation throughout Sheffield for the communities in which people live. We're dedicated to ensuring that every resident we serve has access to the support and opportunities necessary to break free from the cycle of unemployment, deprivation, and poverty through positive community based interventions.

We envision communities where individuals are equipped with the skills, confidence, and the resources they need to secure fulfilling employment, fostering personal growth and enhancing the prosperity of their neighbourhoods.

We have over 25 years experience delivering employment support projects for companies across South Yorkshire and we pull on this wide network of employers to help create roles specifically for residents within the communities we support.

We openly share our progress with our communities, trustees, donors and commissioning bodies and continuously assess our impact and hold ourselves to account. We aim to earn and uphold the trust and confidence of the communities we support and be known as a reliable organisation that champions the interests of all those we serve.
